  @Rick_Turner @TheSimonC90 I’m with giffgaff which runs on O2. What is the coverage like where you are? If you were not receiving a 4G/5G signal at the time of the test, you wouldn’t have received the alert. There are so many places around here that only get 3G and they won’t have received the alert.

  @PaulNewbery4 @imalexwatson What network(s) may I ask? We’re they on data only or Wi-Fi? Also 4g enabled? It seems anyone connected to wifi, O2 masts (three, giffgaff etc) and older phones (not 4g and above enabled) didn’t get the alert.

  @TrickyMcKicky I've 197 lines of data (still awaiting network from 20). GiffGaff, Tesco, iD, Virgin: some named that + "O2" or "EE" but most didn't. So I can't sort properly unless the actual provider is listed. There are 4 Three customers who DID get the alert. So it wasn't a complete ****-up.

  @beckymil1 @ScottGShore I was sat watching the footie with 8 of my mates, literally all on apple but one on O2, I’m on Vodafone a couple on EE, a couple of Three and on giffgaff, some went off, some didn’t, all down to notification and privacy settings

  Hi @giffgaff just wondering if there are reasons why I received no emergency alert today at 3pm ish? got multiple giff gaff phones and an iPad that received no alert, and curious if outside of it being a failure with the goverment system, if there is another reason?

  Well, for some reason my phone didn't go off yesterday - and the signal was down to H+ instead of the usual 4G... was this a @giffgaff or @O2 problem in Thanet?
