@WilliamNB @giffgaff If it works elsewhere and other networks work then yes switch to one that works. But maybe don't pick another provider that uses O2 network.

@gazza_d @KarlOnSea @girodilento I did hear that you are further down the priority list for bandwidth congestion with giffgaff than O2. (Also in a macho - mine is bigger than yours kind of way, I have more data than you are allowed buy, 40GB. Travelling a lot these days)

@WilliamNB @giffgaff @O2 Have you asked for a different SIM? Otherwise I'd be tempted to switch as there is so much more competition now. I don't like poor service.

@giffgaff Web based only ? How convenient. After lengthy email chain with David, received email from Aoife. Telling me that it can't help. WHAT? Are you actually care about customer requests?

@robj3d3 @ThreeUK I switched to giffgaff before left and just use payg without monthly plan, never had a problem since. maybe try order a new sim via ukpostbox then forward to your current address, that might help.

@giffgaff You are a greedy merchant; your king ought to hang you. If he fails to understand the people's rage, then he deserves to meet the same fate as Louis XVI.

@EE @giffgaff you must be aware of the scam company OnTopUp that uses your credentials to scam customers. We’ve had to TWICE cancel fake accounts in our names which we NEVER signed up for & they’ve taken money from both our bank accounts every month even after cancellation! We will be seeking legal advice against them & unfortunately you too as they are part of your circle.

After reviewing my complaint, giffgaff has officially refused to reinstate my number and has also refused to refund my remaining balance, including the Β£10 I topped up shortly before my account was disconnected. I understand that operators have roaming policies, but I believe customers should receive a clear warning before being allowed to top up if their account is already at risk of disconnection. Losing both the service and the newly added credit feels unfair. They also advised me to request a PAC within 30 days if I want to keep my number. Has anyone else had the same experience with giffgaff? I'd be interested to hear how your case was handled. #giffgaff #Roaming #ConsumerRights

@ajzxne Outsourced still means they have to be paid for. We do not know what the arrangement O2 has with Giffgaff for renting network capacity but there are probably options which can be added and removed. Different virtual operators might choose different options.

@bt_uk And if she were going to switch mobile providers, it would be to Giffgaff, as we're all with them. Not you. You should never be pushing extra services on people moving to a social tariff (or anyone, but especially those likely to be vulnerable).
