@BreakIntoProg @barry_barcrest I chucked all my stupid overpriced business plans in the bin and went to Giffgaff a couple of years ago. Couple of odd little quirks, but really have no complaints and save a ton of money. Very good CS too. Tend to sort you out / benefit of doubt if problems.

  • HinkypunkIllus1 Hinkypunk Illustrations (@HinkypunkIllus1) reported from Peacehaven, England

@SMARTYMobileUK just changed my provider from Giffgaff to @SMARTYMobileUK and the coverage is terrible I keep getting 'data usage alerts' no signal Not very happy #mobilecoverage

@boyci3 @giffgaff Funny, I’m in London & I had the opposite. I was with Smarty for a short while, had terrible signal 50% of the time practically everywhere. Since switching back to Giffgaff I’ve had no such problems. 👍

  • AnxietyYT AnxietyYT (@AnxietyYT) reported

@HutchieV Ah dang, I’ve been with giffgaff before and it was terrible, it could have just been the area I was in though tbh

  • michaelocyoung Michael Young (@michaelocyoung) reported

@littlesthomebrw Hmm that's slightly disturbing - Sky Mobile (which I'm assuming you're on from the Passport Plus name) uses the O2 network, which isn't charging roaming fees (and nor are GiffGaff who also use O2) so this is just profiteering on Sky's part.

  • Ebony_2706 Ebony (@Ebony_2706) reported

@giffgaff hi my phone is not connecting to the network I have been to an O2 shop and they can’t figure out the problem have you got any help ?

  • stephaniedk96 Stephanie Kelley (@stephaniedk96) reported

@scriblerian I always did this in reverse—PAYG in the UK (bc giffgaff was cheap, like £8/mo) & paused my US Verizon plan for months at a time, so I could keep the number/have service when here. Maybe there are cheaper US PAYG plans now though?

    @giffgaff [incident # 220516-001140]

  • markkitchen5 mark kitchen (@markkitchen5) reported

@giffgaff Which is great if your service worked but for me it hasnt and this setup of customer services is not ideal as it takes forever to get a reply. When in reality a 10 min phonecall would probably sort it in one go!

  • markkitchen5 mark kitchen (@markkitchen5) reported

@giffgaff 24 hours for a reply when realistically a quick phonecall could sort it. I mean a telecoms company that has no customer service number???? Sounds iffy from the get go

  • markkitchen5 mark kitchen (@markkitchen5) reported

@giffgaff Just pay a bit extra guys and get a service that works and proper customer services

  • markkitchen5 mark kitchen (@markkitchen5) reported

@giffgaff been with you since February and ive got to say what an absolute **** show its been ive never had more than 2 bars signal i tried in vain to get this sorted but were now in may and its still the same. Your app is shocking, customer services are even worse
