@giffgaff My daughter is a student who resides in the UK but is abroad for 3 months. Like I said poor choice as you lose a young person for what is highly likely to be forever. Your business.

@MX5AKA Good point. Whenever I searched GiffGaff 5G it presented a map showing good coverage without any mention that this was general coverage. Entering locations does allow you select, which wasn’t initially obvious. Better labelling would help, especially when accessed from tablets.

@saramttnez @giffgaff Plusnet still has EU roaming included in the allowance. It uses EE network so it's a game changer for me (it doest have 5G though), and is pretty cheap too!

@giffgaff @giffgaff your recently announced changes to free EU roaming, from 20G down to 5G, is not in line with your brand image. As a remote worker this was a key factor in my choice to use you. I'm going to look elsewhere. I can't be the only one. Spank those responsible for this.

@giffgaff When you are a student living abroad for a short but significant time, that is not sufficient and she cannot afford the charges. You have lost a young customer probably for life.

@granth1974 With any network, the network itself is not guaranteed to be fault free, and sometimes issues occur, or upgrading work needs to be completed, which can cause the service not to work as it should be. We do appreciate that it's inconvenient for you at present. - giffgaff Jeanette
