@giffgaff really struggling to make calls. iPhone SE2020 saying a string 4G signal but when actually trying to call it’s dropping to either ‘E’ or 3G. Really frustrating. Second time I’ve had problems this week.

@FentonNick @giffgaff @mattmcilwaine There are no plans currently but giffgaff's owners O2 don't offer wifi calling to their own PAYG customers so giffgaff will be way down the list for it.

@giffgaff I’m not in Glasgow now. I’m in Perthshire (PH4 1QW) and the person I am trying to phone is in Falkirk with a full signal on a different network.

@StephHackett2 I'm seriously glad you are there to get help as being short of breath is no joke and quite scary. At least you got signal in there. My last visit to A&E was with ureteric colic and I never have signal there on Giffgaff which is on O2 network so had to pop out to use phone.

@virginmedia As you can see Giffgaff is often on the same cell as Virgin. I /think/ I'm getting O2 cells and no EE cells. Does that sound plausible. Also note best Signal ⪅ -100dB it flips between about -110 and -120dB; when there's even a connection!
