Witham69 (@Witham69) reported@VOXI_UK @giffgaff Yes I accept that, but why do you alter that particular phone setting during an update? You don't change any other settings on my phone when it restarts, just that one. It's a problem for people with secret or hidden phones in abusive relationships for example.

I use Smarty SIMs for data connections (unlimited for £20 or less). Both of which are easily topped up online, no issues using either of them in routers/diallers.

Guess I'll look elsewhere then & use PayPal instead.
