@giffgaff I got a payg sim for my spare phone yesterday and spent 30 quid on credit so I can use it as a data tethering device for my laptop at home. Live in a rural area so no fibre broadband option. Sadly, there is zero 4G signal. I thought all networks had this sorted?!

@chrisrussellco @giffgaff weird tho cos I'm on a weird side road, my 4g is twice the speed of my landline (16x for upstream), but since it drops out so often, I can't use it for anything that needs a stable connection, so I can sit here lagging to **** on a game, while my work pc is uploading terabytes :)

@giffgaff usually your network is great, its just unfortunate in my current location, and it's really good value when the signal strength is better, sorry to be so negative before it's just a bit of a rock and a hard place with the internet here.

@virginmedia @O2 Sounds good but as an existing VM customer if I bring my mobile back to O2 from Giffgaff will I be able to use existing VM apps for all my accounts or will I have to re create O2 or new Volt ones? Will we get inclusive VM & O2 calls across devices?
