@giffgaff I got a payg sim for my spare phone yesterday and spent 30 quid on credit so I can use it as a data tethering device for my laptop at home. Live in a rural area so no fibre broadband option. Sadly, there is zero 4G signal. I thought all networks had this sorted?!

@giffgaff I think after a week of no network coverage you now tell me I have used up all my data....it is time to quit Giffgaff and find a more reliable provider for my journey on the canal. I would have advertised you to my followers on the other platforms if you had been better

@giffgaff use @VMO2News’s mobile network so the infrastructure component is managed by them, however GG are the service provider. It quickly became clear that something wasn’t right - I couldn’t receive calls, text messages or use iPhone functionality like messenger…

I raised the issue on a @giffgaff forum and lots of great people chipped in how I could help myself - so I did all these actions, multiple times to no joy. After 3 hours and getting nowhere, I raised an issue to a @giffgaff agent, highlighting all the things I’d done…
