@giffgaff what on earth is the issue with your 4g? Past few weeks it’s like having 3G. So slow and doesn’t load, despite having signal.

@m1kta_qrp @ItinerantHam EE is BT’s mobile network, and is an actual network provider in that they provide and manage the network infrastructure. GiffGaff is a service provider owned by Telefónica O2, just like Tesco Mobile.

@O2 @giffgaff I have been driven to where there *is* a signal for half an hour (if I make a call, it works, but I get "conditional forwarding activated*) I suspect they may have been using a Vodafone 3G mast which has just been switched off, so forcing everyone to get a 4G something 😠

@giffgaff That’s just it Nicole. The text comes in without a number. Just a name. I’ve blocked it. But to no avail on my iPhone. Was wondering if there is something you as a network can do to stop these unsolicited spam texts from so called reputable companies. Thanks.

@AwokeRoseArisen The SIM card will not work unless it has been activated. We would recommend that you try activating the SIM card on a new web browser or device, as this should help - giffgaff Jade
