Cllr Mike Young (@mikeyoungUK) reported from Elwick, England@giffgaff I got a payg sim for my spare phone yesterday and spent 30 quid on credit so I can use it as a data tethering device for my laptop at home. Live in a rural area so no fibre broadband option. Sadly, there is zero 4G signal. I thought all networks had this sorted?!

jodiex (@jodieforeman) reported from Redcar, EnglandOH MY ******* GOD HOW CAN @giffgaff SEND ME THE WRONG SIM CARD TWICE YOU ******* STUPID ***** ABOUT TO ACTUALLY COMMIT A CRIME IM THAT MAD
-
Lynda D💙 (@e_gran) reported from Hartlepool, England@RachelOrr I think you can just get a phone…it doesn’t have to have a giffgaff SIM (but check on that). However, GG is so cheap and easy and you can change plans or cancel with no contract. We have both been with them for years and years.

Rob Dowson (@RobDowson86) reported from Stainton and Thornton, England@giffgaff Hi I have two queries, basically my phone sale is not appearing in selling my phone and also my revised quote is £13.50 and stating there is white dots on the screen this wasn't a issue when I send my phone to yourselves.

giffgaff (@giffgaff) reported@JamEfter We're sorry to hear that there seems to be an issue moving your number across to us. Rest assured the agents will be able to help further via your case. In the meantime we would recommend removing your case reference number from public posts - giffgaff Jade

Lulu J (@LuluJ43872028) reportedI'm sorry but how can it be so bad? My WiFi connection is down again so I can't access anything on my laptop or the Firestick. I can use my phone to access but only when I turn off my WiFi (i.e. Data is working, thanks GiffGaff). But @TalkTalk wifi? Nothing. What am I paying for?

Lee Wakefield (@anorak58) reported@EE Contract ends 16/06 for 2 iPhone 14s. Want a sim only deal until we upgrade later this year. You can offer 5/10GB deals. Very poor when I can get monthly deal with giffgaff for £8 for 5GB. Obviously not worried about customer retention.
-
Daniel Jupp (@DanielJupp38418) reported@giffgaff What a waste of time, guys don’t even bother they just send you a pre typed message telling you their signal is fine despite all wee people moaning about it, but yeah it’s fine sure sure
-
Jamie Mawhinney (@mawhinneyjamie2) reported@giffgaff Yes problem is it takes them 6 hours to reply to anything and last thing they sent wasn't much help
-
readwithai (@readwithai) reported@O2 invasive ask your salary when you get a mobile phone contract. I have never had any other service provider do this. If you need access to 02s network without the invasive data collection you can use giffgaff or tesco instead.

Mark 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ (@TheBossnME) reported@virginmedia @giffgaff @Telefonica Virgin Media are 💯 with prompt online support. Always have been. I'm not sure any of the others will reply, at all...
-
Woody Knows (@Woody3704) reported@crip72012 @hewantswealth I had O2 for a long time and it was fine for work and making calls Until I needed an actual good network with consistent uptime and no 300 ping when I'm playing online games. Giffgaff runs smoother. For what I use it for anyway. That 6 quid extra is honestly whatever.

Mark 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ (@TheBossnME) reported@virginmedia @giffgaff @Telefonica gifgaff, who are part of O2, who now work with Virgin Media. All part of Telefonica (and Liberty Global). A FOI request detailing how network coverage map data is recorded, updated, and published would be interesting to see. It seems to be very different from reality.
