@giffgaff Hello! Yes I have. I spoke with Apple care also and they said that my network needs to activate my sim for 5g or else request a new SIM card.

Any chance I can end her contract early without penalty?

@giffgaff why you man so ****?

  • PaulDaly_ Paul Daly (@PaulDaly_) reported

.@giffgaff I bought an iphone and my data is not working as it should. I’ve reset my network settings and it’s still not working as it should be. Is there a customer service # I can contact? Waiting hours for a reply every time I send a message to resolve the issue isn’t ideal.

@7771Jake If it was blacklisted by giffgaff, you would have a giffgaff account Jake. If the phone belongs to someone else, they will need to contact us. If it belongs to you, and you've never been a member, we wouldn't have barred this. - giffgaff Jeanette

  • 7771Jake Jake-777 🙂 (@7771Jake) reported

@giffgaff Have a phone that was reported stolen and as a result blacklisted for uk, luckily got the phone back how can I get you to remove the block? Can provide details as required? Not a gift gaff customer but believe was originally on this network. Thanks

  • giffgaff giffgaff | The mobile network run by you (@giffgaff) reported

@7771Jake Has your friend ever used a UK network SIM in the phone Jake? Did he report the phone to a network in the UK? We can only remove a blacklist, if it was giffgaff that applied the bar through the use of a giffgaff SIM. - giffgaff Jeanette

  • Yorksims John Woods (@Yorksims) reported

@7771Jake @giffgaff Then the seller needs to contact giffgaff because only the person that reported the phone lost/stolen can request the IMEI bar to be removed by the network that barred it for them. So if they reported it lost/stolen then only they can have the bar removed.

  • giffgaff giffgaff | The mobile network run by you (@giffgaff) reported

@7771Jake Hi Jake. If the phone has been blacklisted, you'll need to speak with your network provider that would have blacklisted the phone upon replacing your SIM. If you've went through your insurance company, they may be able to remove this. - giffgaff Jeanette
