    Oh my days @HSBC @HSBC_UK I’ve been a customer for 25 years. I simply want to open an additional current account. Up to 15 days????? This should be 15 minutes at most!!!

    @HSBC_UK I’ve done so, and have managed to get this down to 5 days before I need to call the number I’ve called three times already to be pointed to the website each time. This is awful.

    @HSBC_UK After almost 40 years as a customer I have finally run out of patience with your atrocious service, waiting more than an hour so far today waiting for an agent to respond to me either on chat or phone to replace a secure key with a flat battery...

    @HSBC_UK For those who also have this problem. The solution is sadly to re-install the App and reset all your security (which requires actions online and if you get locked out,a phone call which thankfully is automated). If the App doesn't download, use mobile network rather than Wifi.

    @HSBC_UK No you need to put clear guidance in the public domain to help all your customers, maybe that way you will reduce pressure on your call centres and chat services and reduce the disgraceful wait times your customers currently face.

    @sazcass @HSBC_UK @firstdirect and a staff member then rang First Direct to go through the security with me there. Was a real pain but everything I have done since has been conducted via chat and messages with no issues whatsoever 👍

    @sazcass @HSBC_UK Santander are AWFUL! This is a bit silly @sazcass - complain - thought HSBC were quite aware of disabilities - they work with a lot of disabled charities! I know on my RNID days we worked with them!

    @HSBC_UK Another angry customer here. Been locked out of all online banking, and because I've had too many 'failed attempts' at security questions, I can't do anything. Just stuck in an endless cycle of 'go to our website' followed by 'do this in the app'. I can't reset ANYTHING!

    Absolutely appalling levels of customer service with @hsbc_uk business banking -phone service over 1hour wait - but no responsiveness on the Chat app either. If you’re looking for a business account look elsewhere

    @HSBC_UK I’ve been trying to order a debit card over the phone as power of attorney for 39 minutes now - why is it so difficult ? Did the same 3 weeks ago and it didn’t turn up ! You won’t let me do online banking ! Seriously it’s too hard ! #help

    @HSBC_UK I've closed my account already. @monzo's customer service is better & more responsive (I waited weeks for help from HSBC) & their app is easier to use - the security features are sensible rather than unusable & Kafkaesque, so I've moved everything I had with HSBC over to them.
