@ScoutLouise3 @HSBC_UK Same here. After fruitlessly clicking on links which don't work on their ridiculous app, desktop site says I have to WRITE TO THEM to get the info I need. I do online banking FFS so I don't have to write to anyone! Well played, @HSBC_UK for losing a 20 year-long customer.

Account switch to @HSBC_UK. Got debit card and PIN in post. Trying to get online access - I need a telephone security PIN (not received). Their website says to call 03457 404404 to set it up. You call that number and they require the same PIN, LOL. What a mess, ridiculous.

@HSBC_UK 1/2 I’m surprised by a response and impressed by speed of: First of all ‘Chat’ service isn’t – it’s just a robotic intercept with no outcome. Phone? – yesterday spent 35 mins. until eventually sent down ‘a blind alley’ so I had to call back, 45 mins this time….

@HSBC_UK I get that but not sure how I am supposed the use online banking as you need the app to login securely. So now I can’t use the bank account, @HSBC_UK really do need to move with technology. I am sure it’s not just affecting me but thousands of @HSBC_UK customers.

@HSBC_UK Noticeable how HSBC are becoming more and more like the rest of UK 'service companies' - i.e 'no service'!- you can no longer contact them in writing electronically, e-mail disappeared years ago and so now has their messaging system - what remains is a mess!
