@ScoutLouise3 @HSBC_UK Same here. After fruitlessly clicking on links which don't work on their ridiculous app, desktop site says I have to WRITE TO THEM to get the info I need. I do online banking FFS so I don't have to write to anyone! Well played, @HSBC_UK for losing a 20 year-long customer.

So here I am, waiting for ANOTHER call back. And meanwhile I’ve tried to connect to the online chat bot, who can’t help me so has promised to connect me to an agent “within 5 hours”. Do you really think this is acceptable for your business clients @HSBC_UK ?

@HSBC_UK shocking chat service; contacted twice today for 2 different issues, once on internet banking, once on app. Both times, customer service rep disappeared after my initial question. Have been a customer almost 40 years but will be voting with my feet if things dont improve

Looks like after 26 years I’ll be leaving @Barclays as I’ve been trying to sort out an issue with them for 6 months and they either don’t care or are incompetent. @HSBC_UK here I come

Massive thanks to @HSBC_UK who have decided to cancel our online banking whilst we were trying to report fraudulent transactions because the owner and staff were on the same chat, which is apparently a security breach... HSBC, never knowingly not screwing over a customer...

@HSBC_UK honestly your in app chat service is woeful. It’s taken 2 days to order a paying in book. I’m asked security details about 5 times even though it’s in-app? Why? And if you would just increase the mobile cheque pay in amount I wouldn’t need a paying in book!

@MarkBlakely75 @MetroBank_Help @HSBC_UK No problem. I tried all the high street banks and without a BRP they all wanted a letter from a GP to verify address. Ridiculous. HSBC was by far easiest.
