@ScoutLouise3 @HSBC_UK Same here. After fruitlessly clicking on links which don't work on their ridiculous app, desktop site says I have to WRITE TO THEM to get the info I need. I do online banking FFS so I don't have to write to anyone! Well played, @HSBC_UK for losing a 20 year-long customer.

@HSBC_UK are there any known service problems with credit cards. My card has been declined twice over the weekend and was fine last week...

@HSBC_UK Any plan for compensation? Very embarrassing. At the least a status update on the website that the services were down would have been helpful.

@HSBC_UK Customer service is not able to verify me, so I need to go next Wednesday to the bank and verify myself in person. I can't use my app from Friday to Wednesday now. Well done! Time to change bank!

@mrsgaius @enndemic @HSBC_UK Oh don’t bother today. The app support says it will take 10 hours 30 for someone to respond ha ha. I’m guessing the 2 people responding here is their entire customer service team in the U.K. perhaps globally judging by their shocking customer service

I’m an @HSBC_UK advance customer for 14 years. HSBC did not write any statement about the issue yesterday. I have tried to Install again my app and as the app was not working I was not able to log in they suspended my mobile account.

@HSBC_UK You’re quick enough to send texts out to those going overdrawn. It can be done. Things happen that’s fair enough but it’s about the customer service and apology/compensation afterwards. This wasn’t good enough from a global bank. There would have been a better service from

@mrsgaius @enndemic @HSBC_UK From their useless chat bot or an actual human being? If you’re still on can you ask if they’re going to actually address this major issue and how they left thousands of people stranded and vulnerable and all they can do is send a single tweet?

@HSBC_UK You want everyone to Go cash free and you shut banks in rural areas of the country where people need access to their banks, how do you know this won't happen again, this is really embarrassing when you walk into a Supermarket and can't pay your goods. Bring Back our Banks!!
