@HSBC_UK 30 minutes and still waiting and no reply from your customer care number...ridicoulous service #hsbc - all this to just order a debit card

  • nikhil_woodruff Nikhil Woodruff (@nikhil_woodruff) reported

@agw1437 @bouldie @HSBC_UK I’m not suggesting the govt should run the bank, just give money so that customers who need extra help can incentivise firms to act in their interests more

  • emmaballltd Emma Ball 💙 (@emmaballltd) reported

@HSBC_UK Not really- I’ll be totally honest here- we’ve had a great rapport with the bank for years- being really busy it’s hard to get out of the office during working hours to get to the bank/post office etc- so they kindly bank them for me as I pop it thro letterbox with slips

  • Bachcyw Cyw (@Bachcyw) reported

@BernieSpofforth A few years ago, @HSBC_UK installed chip and pin terminals at its counters, to allow staff to access customer accounts and dispense cash without I.D. or a cheque/withdrawal slip. But they have *never worked* and clearly never will now! The Sinister Agenda becomes ever clearer...

  • nikhil_woodruff Nikhil Woodruff (@nikhil_woodruff) reported

@agw1437 @bouldie @HSBC_UK Well, a good business is profitable. And the clients are voting -with their money- that they don’t need as much staff and would prefer better services instead. The people who need extra help are just not a significant client base, so no incentive to help them.

  • RedCircleFP Darren Cooke (@RedCircleFP) reported

@simonnread @HSBC_UK That is globally and across all business lines. Are you suggesting they keep loss making branches open and that is funded by other clients elsewhere in the business? If people no longer want that service you stop providing it, simple as that.

  • simonnread simon read (@simonnread) reported

@RedCircleFP @HSBC_UK But as you said yourself, there are people who want the service. They're withdrawing it from them after what is probably years or decades of providing it. Surely you can understand customers' distress?

  • maverickladys Wilameana (@maverickladys) reported from Barrow-in-Furness District, England

@HSBC_UK @emmaballltd I can never get it to work & end up taking it into the branch! If you are closing so many branches the saving should be spent on improving your service, ie online & waiting time for phones

  • wendieeasen wendie easen (@wendieeasen) reported

@HSBC_UK I cannot make a payment from my account. It keeps saying “no eligible accounts” please help

  • simonnread simon read (@simonnread) reported

@RedCircleFP @HSBC_UK But you can understand customers' anger when the service they rely on is withdrawn
