@HSBC_UK “Some customers”?! I think you mean ALL! I’ve been utterly humiliated in Tesco due to my contactless/card payments declining, and there’s absolutely no information on the app. If this has been a problem for hours, why not send out an email? Don’t tweet utter twaddle - DO BETTER!

@HSBC_UK I have just spoken to someone on the phone and they told me it's systems maintenance that should be up again by midnight . I am sorry but what systems maintenance that does not allow people to access there money for more then 3hrs ???

@HSBC_UK Sorry but this is a completely piss poor and unacceptable response! It's not "some customers" it's all customers and it's been an issue for over 3 hours! Cards being declined up and down the country in every supermarket, bar etc.......it complete chaos! FFS sort it out!!
