@recordedontape @HSBC_UK Had the same issue today! Went into bank. They couldn’t help. Rang online banking to be told there’s an issue with sending PIN codes via email. I can’t access my account at all! I have staff salaries to pay tonight too..

Hi @HSBC_UK - my app won’t log me in as its requesting I scan a QR code off another device (which doesn’t exist) and online wants me to generate a security code from the app I cannot access. Need to urgently pay some bills - can you help?

@HSBC_UK HSBC Uk is currently abuse their clients, they just close their accounts , even for over 20 years. They use remotely cheap country’s services handle important customer services, removed local in person services. It creates more risks to answer phone . Do not use hsbc !

@JimBrowning11 @Visa @HSBC_UK Hey Jim, working in fraud here for a bank in the UK (not HSBC), almost all staff are trained to speak to customers only really, I'd say majority of my colleagues would react the same, overall flaw of how we are trained, your best bet is to ask to speak to a supervisor/manager 1/2
