Trying to make an appointment with my bank. Website said to phone. Automatic phone service said to use the website. Thanks, @HSBC_UK, that's really helpful. 🙄 (Eventually managed to speak to someone and she was very nice, BTW.)

@HSBC_UK getting in touch without keep getting told to contact another number after trying to do what you say is the quickest who say they have not got enough staff to answer a question is not good service when you are also closing more branches.

@HSBC_UK Hi Chris - it's an iPhone SE iOS Version 16.1.1 and everything is up to date. Yes I already tried turning phone off and on (that's about as technical as I get!). What can I do? The app is still saying Service unavailable.

@HSBC_UK been banking with you for 20 years and you have decided to close all my accounts for no reason and no-one that can help me with this. I have all my wages, direct debits and savings and now cannot access any of it over Christmas as you have closed my accounts. Ridiculous!
