We have been advised to call HSBC car services as the app can’t help. Have been passed around on the phone for TWO hours solidly on hold - what you can do to help? This is ridiculous! @HSBC_UK

@HSBC_UK so that I don’t get hung up on again before even reaching customer service, can anyone on here answer a support query rather urgently?

@HSBC_UK @andyc_plymouth I’m sorry but this is quite a lazy response. Apple can discover faults with a fully launched software update and release a new one to fix it. Find another bank with this issue on Twitter. I can’t…

@HSBC_UK But you still haven’t given me any options beyond ‘sit and wait.’ How am I supposed to access my account today to pay credit card bills? Transfer money? Even to simply check my bank balance? This is the bare minimum service you should be providing

@HSBC_UK I'm trying to use the app to pay a new payee but I'm getting 503. Is there a known issue and when can it be fixed?

@HSBC_UK it has now been over an hour since I sent a message mid conversation. Your agent clearly decided to finish his shift without resolving my issue. Thank you for confirming its time for me to change banks, absolutely disgusted with the communication received today.

@HSBC_UK why has your support agent started ignoring my messages after being rude and ignoring the issues I am raising? Messages mid support request now going unread.

@HSBC_UK I mean, it hasn't. the last update to the app was on the 18th July 2022 and the problem still very much exists. I suggest you ask someone in IT to read the app store reviews.

Over 25 years with @HSBC_UK - first time awful experience - shambolic call waiting times, incompetent bank transfer team. No interdepartmental cohesion … pick the phone up and speak to one another! - #fedup #poorcustomerservice
