Should I now hang up my call? I’m conscious I can’t go through another 3+ hour wait as it’s rendered it impossible for me to work today.

Look at your procedures and change them - give disabled people the choice of how they want and can engage with your bank. Big clue: they can’t call you to verify anything! @LloydsBank fyi you’re just as bad.
