Someone has opened a bank account using my address. I have tried reporting it to @HSBC_UK but the twitter chat says they can’t help, the phone line has a recorded message saying they’re too busy to take calls and the text message only works if you’re a customer (I’m not) 🙄

@RobbiewOnline @HSBC_UK Their app needs to be updated to add iOS 16 to the approved iOS versions the app checks for when launching. Until they do this it will not work. Future betas of iOS 16 will not fix the issue. This is an issue with the app that they won’t quickly address. Glad I moved to Monzo.

@HSBC_UK I currently can’t make any purchases online with my business card because I am told you don’t have my phone number for verification. I phoned and gave you my number that you already have. Still can’t purchase and phone support told me it must be the vendor’s fault (ie Amazon)

@HSBC_UK I’d like an update on what’s happening to enable me to access my business bank acc that you’ve locked me out of for 2 months now. I fail to see why if I go to branch with a passport and bank cards etc this catastrophic **** up can’t be sorted immediately.

@footballosso @HSBC_UK I've got the same - and when I open the app it's completely wiped the data and I can't log in anymore! Woke up this morning to do banking and can't get in - can't even log in online as can't get into the app for digital security code
