It appears that paying in cash (remember that?) at my local @HSBC_UK is too much to ask being a @firstdirect customer. My bank card doesn’t work in the machine and there’s no longer any manned desks. I was sent to a @PostOffice instead? Ridiculous 🤯

@HSBC_UK we're having huge issues with the safeguarding on our commercial account. We have visited a branch, supplied information and called yet we are still being told our account will be closed. Phone lines are always busy. Please provide an email address for an actual person

@timhawesuk @HSBC_UK My branch couldn’t help at all. They had to call the same helpline as me. The info I gave to branch at start of safeguarding never made it to the safeguarding dept. Might say HSBC on building but it’s not really HSBC. They don’t appear to be linked. I’d move if I was you!
