@mouthwaite @HSBC_UK I had the same with Halifax, you couldn’t contact them, and they closed all their branches making it impossible to be able to contact them. If you went into the only branch in the city, you couldn’t speak to anyone you had to book online, but you couldn’t book app online crazy.

@mouthwaite @HSBC_UK I used to bank with HSBC and I went into a branch to sort a problem they’d caused (set up a loan without enough DD payments) and was told I would need to use the phone in the bank to call HSBC, whilst standing in HSBC… insanity! That was my final straw.

@mouthwaite @HSBC_UK I had the same experience with NatWest rude unhelpful staff 2hrs on the phone passed to 5 different staff 3 different departments and they still wouldn't help my 83 yr old dad with with a very basic request ! Yet they make billions #natwest @NatWest_Help

@mouthwaite @HSBC_UK I spent 2 years working for HSBC after working 13 years with The Co-opereratve Bank. HSBC are too big and have a poor record on fraud. Consider Co-operative Financial Services.

@duffy1972 @mouthwaite @HSBC_UK My app did the same, couldnt even get to the secure key to loggin online. I ended up having to delete the app, request a physical security key. Redownload and reset everything back up over 2 weeks! I did however manage to speak to a person who denied issues with the app....

@mouthwaite @HSBC_UK I left Nat West when I couldn’t speak to a human and went to @firstdirect even though this is telephone banking their customer service is excellent and have now been with them for 22 years
