@HSBC_UK disgusting customer service from HSBC. My dad has been with HSBC for over 60 years but they are making it impossible to open a joint account with my mum. This has been going on for 6 months. Customer service don’t help.

@HSBC_UK Thanks Stef, after a further series of calls, taking most the day, she got passed to the individual in fraud who dealt with the initial case and could resolve the issue. If you have that system then you need to fast track case queries directly to the case handler.

Hey @santanderukhelp @BarclaysUKHelp @HSBC_UK hypothetical q? Can I lend my bank acct to org in foreign country who can't work here in order for them to do work here and pay people? Giving them full access to move money into UK? Espec if they say they'll do stuff for free for me

@HSBC_UK @MartinSLewis HSBC customer service is an absolute disgrace. My wife been on hold for 50+ mins, trying to deal with fraud on her cc account. Not spoken to a human yet. I'm sure a missed payment will get noticed!

@HSBC_UK trying to open savings account for my 8 y/o. He has an expired passport - not renewed due to COVID, why would we? can’t go anywhere - all your systems are based on that 1 option. Must be another way to prove ID? Web support & call centre just routes back to same answer.

@HSBC_UK @Kakes_11_ I do not think it is good practice for ANYONE to call you/me and ask for your date of birth as i was asked today. I never have an issue when i ring them, but data protection should work both ways.

@mistress_lu @HSBC_UK To be fair, this is one of the reasons why I don't want to do mobile banking because the app is so unreliable, all the numerous times its been mentioned on the social pages that the app is down etc
