We have been advised to call HSBC car services as the app can’t help. Have been passed around on the phone for TWO hours solidly on hold - what you can do to help? This is ridiculous! @HSBC_UK

@firstdirect @HSBC_UK So after 28 years as a good customer of First Direct, I’m closing my account. They’re a rubbish, unhelpful bank (not the staff I might add who are all lovely) and HSBC have an appalling environmental record. Time for a change

@tobie Very true Tobie. In 2016 I got a call from @HSBC_UK's fraud department, wanting to take me through security. They were surprised when I insisted on calling them back! Terrible, terrible security protocols.

@HSBC_UK HSBC ATM Fraud @ 90 Baker Street, London. MasterCard swallowed by HSBC ATM, Reported to adjoining HSBC branch - not much help. Within minutes, 1500GBP taken from card before I could contact my Mastercard bank & block card. Reported to HSBC fraud team - not much help.
