@wmarybeard @HSBC_UK @firstdirect Ask the bank to process the payment on your behalf as it keeps declining. If they can’t make it happen its a problem in Greece which the hotel will have to sort. Also change bank Firstdirect are great when travelling etc.

Hey @HSBC_UK you do know that your call volumes are NOT “higher than usual” if it’s been like that for 2 years solid? Have you considered an alternative message “We have decided customer calls are unimportant, please hold for 2 hours”?
