@RedCircleFP @HSBC_UK Actually supermarkets have had a lot of bad publicity if they've closed down a village shop. It has created much more criticisms than banks. Both are equally poor behaviour

@simonnread @HSBC_UK Banks have never pretended to provide a service. They do provide a service, that is their business. If not enough people use that service it closes, no business keeps open a loss making branch. If B&Q close a store, or Tesco, nobody moans. Why do they moan when a bank does?

Yet again @HSBC_UK has failed to do its job. Want to use lasting power of attorney to ensure elderly mum’s funds pay for care home. Set up new ISA with gd int rates, HSBC refuses to transfer funds. Why? Go to branch, promised action in 24hrs. Nothing. What’s the problem HSBC?

@simonnread @HSBC_UK I can tell you a story where they did keep a branch open for one customer, he wasn't the only customers but that branch had very few. Due to one famous client it stayed open long after it should have closed.

Could not make it up @HSBC_UK advertising safe spaces in branches - those will be the ones they are closing then with no consultation with their customer base - profit before people!

@HSBC_UK Since you've closed all the nearby branches who is paying for my day off work to solve your problem of not being able to provide reasonable service ?!

@HSBC_UK Tell it to the management , I'm afraid I'm now immune to all the disingenuous apologies that are free flowing when the service fails and no takes responsibility.

@HSBC_UK You keep stating you are closing banks because of increased mobile and online banking is reducing branch use, I totally disagree. St Austell branch closes at 3 and doesn’t open on a Saturday morning, this means if you are working you are unable to access the bank.

@RedCircleFP @HSBC_UK Because it takes away a service. If a store closes it just means they can't sell their tat to local people anymore

@HSBC_UK answer me this. If you keep shutting local branches making it harder for ppl, especially the elderly, to do their banking why should anyone stay with you? Many online banks offer just as good a service if not better. I may be switching
