I dont suppose people are on baited breath re my @HSBC_UK foreign currency problems! But upshot is that after 2 hours on the phone, I still can't euros delivered satisfactorily, so the husband will go out to get it the old fashioned way. Pity, this has worked brilliantly before

@HSBC_UK unfortunately you are the worst bank in the world. Although all account information is correct, I can not see a payment. When I call customer services, they say your money is here, but I can't see the money neither on my app nor on my internet banking. it's been 17 days

@wmarybeard @HSBC_UK My husband opened his account at @RBS in 1966. I think they only have bots working for them now. Used to be great but now under the mattress would at least be contactable.

@HSBC_UK That’s not acceptable really I’m afraid (this problem doesn’t affect me but it’s affecting thousands of people at moment) You need to speak with your superiors and app development team and get a date when this is going to be resolved. They are working to a deadline. What is that?

@wmarybeard @HSBC_UK I've been 'stranded' abroad by Covid since 2019. I have been able to use my Halifax Clarity creditcard for most purchases without any problems. If I want local currency I can withdraw that from any ATM with my HSBC UK Bank debitcard.
