@HSBC_UK is today not a normal working day? Daughter told to go into branch to open student account. Gets to bank and told nobody in branch knows how to open a new account. Come back next week! Total insanity!!

@HSBC_UK is there a problem with the iOS app? Just tried logging on, it didn’t recognise me, I tried entering my username and secure key (I also tried the Secure Key PIN) and no luck. I’m now locked out of the app. #marvellous

@HSBC_UK trying to set up hsbc app on new phone, stupidly deleted old phone from account before had set up new one. Now going round in circles as have no qr code and can't log in as can't generate security code. Can't find a way to reset doesn't give option anywhere?

@HSBC_UK I have already provided details to Nicole but no explanation so far. All she said was that she has seen that I contacted customer support and that they would have assisted me. This is not the case however. Customer support did not explain WHY my card was declined.

@paullewismoney @HSBC_UK My local branch of HSBC was no help anyway. The answer to my pleas for help were either 'do it online' or 'we don't do this it's HQ'. When they started charging small charities £5 a month I switched to a building society

@HSBC_UK I want to speak with people at a branch near me, not a chat bot, not a call centre agent that has English as a second language, but that's impossible, so this coming year I'll leave, I've been a customer since Midland Bank days, but not much longer

@paullewismoney @HSBC_UK Due to mergers, we ended up with three branches of Santander within 100 yards of each other, unsurprisingly two of them closed - that's 66% with no loss of service. How many branches do we really need?
