Why is customer service now so rubbish @HSBC_UK ? 45 minutes hanging on the phone before it clicks off. You're closing dozens of local branches. There is no one to talk to. Why would anyone keep their account with you any more? I've had mine 50 years wonder why.

Dear @HSBC_UK is there anyway to send a secure message via your website for a general enquiry as it’s no longer obvious and I’m not interested in your chatbot?

@HSBC_UK Have just been on the phone to an agent after waiting 40 minutes, and as soon as I said I wanted to make a complaint he put the phone down on me. Is there an email address I can write to, or can I do it via Twitter.

@HSBC_UK Rit you genuinely don’t get it. HSBC make a poll asking if people would ask their bank for help. Your customers point out that HSBC has had zero interest in helping in the past. I get the processes as I’ve worked in financial service for 20 years and my credit rating is 999.

@HSBC_UK Of course most people haven't as most banks have pulled down the shutters on the vast majority of the population. Most are fearful of their credit rating getting worse or getting into debt. I'm seeing no's people at #hamwicstreetkitchen #soupkitchen double in last 2yrs. #disgrace

@HSBC_UK No, because its lip service. But remember when the banking system came begging for help from the public money during the last recession ya bunch of fcking crooks.

@HSBC_UK unbelievable customer service and willing to watch any business suffer for no given reason
-
Tara (@shewasmyfriend) reported
@HSBC_UK I asked HSBC for help during MY last cost of living crisis and they were so helpful they reduced my credit limit (despite me showing them an offer letter for a new job paying more money). I'm gradually withdrawing my business as a result.
-
Ib (@IbzAmari) reported
In the midst of this #CostOfLivingCrisis I’ve been deprived of around £7,500 by @HSBC_UK they seized my money without warning and refuse to talk to me or give any reason. Rendering me incapable of resolving any issue (if any) to get my money back, it’s been 45 days and counting.

@HSBC_UK having people working from home in the Philippines as customer service is clearly not working! 40 mins to get answer to then receive crackling, banging and the line going dead! M&S premium card holders deserve better! Only other way - snail mail! 😡

Spent nearly 50 minutes waiting on the phone with @HSBC_UK today. Truly appalling customer service.
