@HSBC_UK shockingly poor customer service. When fraud attempts happen it’s you who should be helping us, protecting your customers. We’ve banked with you for 30yrs, but it’s a no brainier, we change banks.

@hsbc_uk is there an issue at the moment with plastic issued by you? I tried booking a hotel yesterday and my (business) credit card was declined. Today I tried my personal one - also declined. Had to use my Barclaycard in the end.

@LewisLudlam @HSBC_UK Ah sorry bud. They’ve normally been decent with that recently. I had the same issues trying to get through so went down the app route and it was resolved fairly quickly. Disputed card payment.

@HSBC_UK Still ignoring phone calls, letters, emails so I have had to resort to the Financial Ombudsman. Any time now the automated response will tell me to email again. Truly shameful service.

@LewisLudlam @HSBC_UK Wind you’re neck in.. just because your a ‘celeb’ you think putting on Twitter will get you faster service.. wait like us all.. they probably have staff shortages due to covid and the ones there all get pelters from knobs thinking they deserve better. They’re doing their best.

Told to “Go Online” she’s 70+ y.o blah blah she only wanted to make sure her credit card which she’d mislaid/lost had not been used. 4 days later my wife managed to speak to a human after being cut off twice on hold. Useless

I've been on hold to @HSBC_UK for 54 minutes so far. They do offer a 'press 1 for a call back' option but the 2 times I've tried that so far, the call drops on the callback. I just want access to my business account.

@HSBC_UK No. I do know how to do it but I went through the steps again with mobile banking support. Option is not there, even when I set it up as a new payee. Used to be there but has gone since the last app update. So I was advised to call, but call handler was unable to set up either.
