@HSBC_UK Your chat support is abysmal. All I am trying to do is close a zeroed out Flex Saver account and they can't manage that much. Why have you removed the option to private message via the dashboard? I refuse to spend hours on hold on the phone for such a basic task!

Just rung the number for new customers to book an appointment to open a savings account for my child. Automated system useless, asked for my sort code (doh, I am a new customer so don't have one). Now losing the will to live on hold. @HSBC_UK @HSBC @poorservice

I believe @hollyhyanez HSBC_UK (I am sure it’s not just #hsbc) don’t really care because it’s such a pain to close your account and open a new one but not hanging on any longer, an hour and half waiting for an agent to help me give the bank business is too long #accountclosing

@HSBC_UK Did this, and you still can't close the account. Instead, was redirected to the useless options on your site. Again. Utterly pointless to contact you on here if you are unable to action the most basic of tasks, either. Another huge waste of time.

@HSBC_UK the WORST bank I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Business account locked since 19th Dec; no access to funds despite still taking money in. Daily phone calls, keep being told different updates from agents. Beyond ridiculous - how do you expect us to operate??

@HSBC_UK the customer service for HSBC is appalling. Lost my commercial card mid December,great challenge to get through to anyone to report it, chaotic inconsistent advice from HSBC call centres, fraudulent transactions have now been charged to my account. V poor service
