In November I contacted @HSBC_UK to get control of my deceased Fathers bank account. Last week I emailed for progress and they emailed back Monday saying we have no record of an account! 16k missing! I gave them the details again and Still Nothing. Truly awful bereavement service

@HMRCcustomers @HSBC_UK If this was the other way round you would issue a late payment charge! Nobody can explain at HMRC why the cheque was stopped and I now have to wait 18 weeks for a new cheque. Criminal!

@HSBC_UK Logging it as a formal complaint won’t change any outcome or resolve this I feel,so I will just cut the card in half and cancel it before I’ve even used it. Honestly a frustrating unhelpful service. Would never recommend HSBC to anyone after this evening.but thanks for your reply

@HSBC_UK 45mins on the phone being passed around, telling me to set up my telephone banking number when your system isn’t working, all I want to do is activate my card which has taken 4+ weeks to arrive to my house. the worst service I’ve ever had from a bank.Cancel my card

@HSBC_UK Dear HSBC UK team, I have been trying hard to reach out your dispute team on 03455873402 (I have an existing dispute which looks like is being considered for section 75C) and nobody ever picks up the call. I have waited hours and hours. As if there is no one to help !!
