Why is @HSBC_UK closed on a Saturday?! I'm now without a bank card & access to my own money until TUESDAY as thought I could fetch it in branch this morning. What a great start to the bank holiday weekend.

@HSBC_UK Not entirely sure you read that correctly Russell 👀 it wasn’t successful because you missed out a monthly direct debit I had set up on my old account which you’ve closed after switch completed .... but as a customer, this was not done and definitely not a success.

@HSBC_UK trying to help my mother out...her secure key has died without warning and we cannot access her bank account...telephone banking was a fail as they hung up on her! She suffers from dementia and is very confused and worried!

@HSBC_UK customer service is appalling. Scaremongering customers by telling them accounts will be closed and credit files effected when there's nothing wrong with their account. 2nd time ive had this conversation in as many months. Obviously my first complaint was just ignored.

@CorriganMJ @HSBC_UK About time they paid what they owe customers. Compassionless corporate b******s. Got into debt yrs ago - self inflicted btw. Went to them for help as they were my bank but they were not interested. Eventually pd what I owed them. Had nothing to do with them since. Hate them.

Years ago @HSBC_UK closed my account without warning , this left me without a bank account for almost 6 months , recently I recieved a cheque for £50 as way of an apology...... I couldn't apply for work without an account so I was effectively 6 months pay down... £50 .... right..

@HSBC_UK Thanks for the reply but the retailer (@UberUKsupport ) isn't having issues, their system is designed to disallow removing card details. They aren't likely to get back to me as their customer service is questionable at best, non-existent at worst.
