Can’t speak to a real person & if you finally get a living being they r worse than useless & couldn’t care less about helping.   An update with @HSBC_UK @HSBC - they blocked access to my online accounts for me, but not for the scammer so happily paid out £9000 despite failing security checks. Called Fraud Detection Team who gave me incorrect details...failed to block my cards, so still vulnerable...sigh...

  @FumbledFilm @HSBC_UK HSBC can’t answer the phone. Help desk is not in the UK and the staff don’t understand your needs ( if you are prepared to wait 40 minutes for an answer). Try the Metro bank!
