@Kernow_King @HSBC_UK Customer services in this country have gone to ****. Can’t speak to a real person & if you finally get a living being they r worse than useless & couldn’t care less about helping. They have answer sheets they don’t deviate from & companies r affronted when we get pissed off 😡

@HSBC_UK I am not blocked? I am just not receiving the text message with the activation code to let me in to the app or even onto the actual banking website! Had no issues previously until the app was updated

@HSBC_UK Thanks it’s an old iPhone so 12.5.5 is the latest version. The workaround works but it’s not a good one of old iPhones ! We are now in a terrible design loop as it’s asking for a digital secure key that can only be created via the mobile app!!

Thankfully the issue was identified in his very first transaction, when he paid £1500 for a cheap printed holiday hoodie to a (very surprised) friend...
