@Kernow_King @HSBC_UK Customer services in this country have gone to ****. Can’t speak to a real person & if you finally get a living being they r worse than useless & couldn’t care less about helping. They have answer sheets they don’t deviate from & companies r affronted when we get pissed off 😡

@HSBC_UK I've been unable to access online banking since 13/5 as the secure key device has died & telephone banking is locked? My unhelpful local branch wouldn't give me a new fob without photo ID (?) & suggested I call customer services.

@HSBC_UK Ok, so I think you’re saying that HSBC will accept the proceeds of cryptocurrency, but of course not crypto itself? So a customer could withdraw GBP from Coinbase to HSBC, for example, just fine but wouldn’t be able to deposit GBP into Coinbase using HSBC?

@HSBC_UK I live abroad but believe I’m not allowed to have a non UK number on file for security. My account is barely active bar the odd payment for a kindle book on my still active Amex card. I’ve been on hold for 20 minutes with customer service...

@HSBC_UK He's already in contact with your support but has been told it may take upwards of 15 days before it can be resolved... not ideal I was curious if there was a common issue here rather than anything specific to his account.
