Trying to add cards to iPhone Wallet and getting the classic problem@of the @HSBC_UK “fraud detection” system which basically works by allowing you add a card to one device then blocks everything else.

Oh joy — new business debit card so have to go through the @HSBC_UK bullshit again of not being able to add it to Apple Pay despite the last business debit card being added without a problem. Waiting for the “Business cards don’t work with Apple Pay” response.

@HSBC_UK Why are pending transactions taken off from balance like they have been approved? If a customer informs you that she did not authorise these payments from her debit card, why can't you protect your customer by stopping the payments? This customer is now in overdraft!

@HSBC_UK Because I don’t know the overdraft on the account I don’t use and can’t access to check you’re not letting me reset my info. Told me to go to a branch in HK to confirm ID, due to time difference this isn’t possible.

@HSBC_UK 4 months to open a current account, 3 credit checks which makes it look like I’ve applied for 3 accounts. Countless phone calls and emails to your complaints team and 4 promises to ring me back but no one calls. Is this your current level of new customer service?

@HSBC_UK I have the conversation recorded and happy to share when necessary but essentially let’s say a property is valued at £600k and HSBC are owed £250k the lady told me it would be sold for £250k. She works in your mortgage & financial support team 👍🏻

@mistress_lu @HSBC_UK To be fair, this is one of the reasons why I don't want to do mobile banking because the app is so unreliable, all the numerous times its been mentioned on the social pages that the app is down etc
