@NigelThornton I suspect Hyperoptic may have the same problem with the final few metres of connection. Getting "wire" from the under-pavement chambers & ducts into flats and houses will probably mean surface mounting. Unless they can pull-through alongside the legacy telephone wire into homes.

@Hyperoptic I work from home. I cant work without internet. Either I have to go to office which is 2 hours one way or loose 2 weeks of pay. And there is no way to get early appointment. This is reddiculous. Extra price+installation charge still wait for 2 weeks. Help appreciated

@HyperopticCS You don’t have my patience any longer. #hyperoptic #outage #review. Given what you’ve written above, the process taken to resolve this has been incompetent at best.

@PyrionFlax @Hyperoptic And I'm guessing you also have to keep paying the same rates for the service you're supposed to be getting?

@Hyperoptic can you at the very least activate my service after 8 days of installation? please?
-
Dann Parry
(@demuDann) reported
Absolutely fuming. First @Hyperoptic doesn't cancel my account after I switch to @CommunityFibre, and now they're asking for £180 just so I can cancel a service I haven't used in months after I was reassured by CF there would be no charge. to do this in a cost of living crisis..

@ironside @HyperopticCS @JamesHobley3 Hyperoptic used to offer customers wirelesss hotspots during outages. Maybe they could help you with that? For what its worth, my guess is that the duct does not belong to them so they will be depending on BT Openreach to fix it.

@AndrejsFjodoro2 @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS Been there Andrejs. In fact I’m still there. Truly awful comms - just thanks for your patience and we’re on it. But every day is the same.
