@UbuntuBhoy @Hyperoptic Thinking of upgrading from 75 to 900 with EE but for some reason I'd lose the landline. I'm not bothered but folks are. My connection just now is garbage, I just can't be arsed sitting on the phone telling me to do what I've done a million times already!

@NcRayza Hello, Rayza. Please don't click on it, just close it down. We're not sure how can you turn it off completely since this is not something Hyperoptic organises. Also, check if your antivirus software is up to date and change any passwords that you think are at risk.

@VelocityFibre can you confirm what router you supply and if we can use our own - hyperoptic customers get a really poor router I’ve been told. I’d like to be running WiFi 6e and most of my LAN devices support 2.5 - 10gb, so my own router would be nice..

@razorclamm Hyperoptic here! They have so many good packages, I really ought to have downgraded to spend less but I couldn't help myself 🙈

@oliviasolon @alexhern Happy to second the Hyperoptic recommendation, I’ve been with them 4 years now, no issues. nb I shifted down to 150mb, you can pay for 1gb but you’ll be at the mercy of your hardware trying to get anywhere near that in the real world

@Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS - my internet has been down for a week and your customer service has been appalling. I am really disappointed and need someone to urgently deal with this. I have raised a ticket and had calls but it’s appalling.

@UbuntuBhoy @Hyperoptic Just trying to get them. Been signed up for years and never heard anything. They only seem to install in areas once there's enough folk signed up and even then they (from what I've read) keep pushing back install dates.

@Hyperoptic My internet is down again for the 4th time in a matter of weeks. This is the worst internet in Glasgow! Why is no one answering when I'm calling?

Man, what happened to @Hyperoptic - used to have the best customer service team and now they hardly bother and trot out utter nonsense. Paying for a 1gbps service, currently getting a 1mbps connection. Absolute pathetic joke.

@UbuntuBhoy @Hyperoptic Mad how good smaller companies are. Waiting for a local rollout from a Hull-based supplier. Can have 900 down for the same price as I pay BT for, well, a lot less
