God help anyone who chooses you as their isp. I only hope this thread will be a warning to others. Avoid at all costs. These guys are chancers and you don’t want to have to deal with this bullshit. BEWARE - HYPEROPTIC IS A LOST CAUSE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

@Hyperoptic …Phoned in on Friday to ask what was going on and when the network will be activated. Told they didn’t know but it should be soon and I’ll get a call back today to confirm details of activation and my plan. No call back. Arrived home today after weekend away. No internet still..

… one of the worst aspects of BT was the extended process to signup or switch, even if you have all the physical connection and gear. If all you need is a standard (ish) modem and router, then there’s no reason it should take more than a phone call to activate, like Hyperoptic.
