Hyperoptic Issues Reports Near Hoddesdon, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Hoddesdon and nearby locations:

  • thekuntz69 aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England

And of course no update. Shocking customer service from @Hyperoptic and @HyperopticCS . 3 updates in 24 hours for an issue affecting 100s of accounts is not acceptable.

  • thekuntz69 aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England

Any news on the NW9 internet outage as it enters hour 27 @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS ? The engineer has been on site for 3 hours now and your email said it would be fixed by 530 pm and it’s now after 7pm? An update that contained some information would be a good start.

  • The_Stockboy Alex Pasfield (@The_Stockboy) reported from London, England

@Hyperoptic is there any update on when service will be restored to SE10 customers? Or at least when an engineer can be expected on-site?

  • The_Stockboy Alex Pasfield (@The_Stockboy) reported from London, England

@gregpower @Hyperoptic In all honesty it has been great for a number of years. But I’m the last couple of months they seem to have hit problems. This is the second time I have experienced a major outage with them.

  • thekuntz69 aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England

So will @HyperopticCS or @Hyperoptic update the residents of Beaufort park NW9 as to what’s actually happening with the outage or will they just ignore us again and slink off for the evening? I’m going for the latter.

  • thekuntz69 aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England

So @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS and idea if the service is going to come back on in London today? Also it would be a good idea to update your service indicator on your website in line with what your CS is explaining on the live chat.

  • Gianluca_Leo LUCA (@Gianluca_Leo) reported from Barnet, England

@turna_music @Hyperoptic Had my installation pushed back twice weeks apart with unhelpful people on CS - just been the worst

  • Gianluca_Leo LUCA (@Gianluca_Leo) reported from Barnet, England

    FYI, never use @Hyperoptic

  • chawlakapali Kapali (@chawlakapali) reported from London, England

@Hyperoptic u have increased yearly commitment contract prices by 25% !!!! But for a new customer who starts with Hyperoptic can still avail the same price I was paying last year. This is insane ! Why this disparity between old and new customer? Plus you hold monopoly in my area.

Don’t you dare start messing with my service on my first day of holiday, @Hyperoptic! Why does my Wi-Fi keep dropping?

  • RATR2016 RageAgainstTheRight (@RATR2016) reported

I’ve never had internet issues before plusnet took over but I’m not allowed to leave, even though I lose internet connection dozens of times a day, @Hyperoptic I have to wait a couple of months till I’m out of contract but can I officially put the transfer request in now?

  • xavierdamase DAMZ (@xavierdamase) reported

@Hyperoptic is a joke. Asked for my building to be connected to their cable, got turned down and sent to their competitors. Thanks guys...

  • PhillParkinson P H I L L I P ⚡️ (@PhillParkinson) reported

@BJarkowski @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS This test was over ethernet, on WiFi I get about 700Mbps down and 600Mbps up. It isn't plugged into my main network yet which uses UniFi kit. I think even for WiFi use it's still worth it, especially for the symmetrical speeds.

  • BigPoppaLen The artist formally known as Lenny 🍑 (@BigPoppaLen) reported

@Hyperoptic out here with the customer service skills of a dead ******

  • SimonHelson Simon Helson (@SimonHelson) reported

Dear @Hyperoptic I move into E20, no IPv6, no static IPv4, just broken CGNAT. And I can't shop around. This sucks.

  • Singspiel Singspiel (@Singspiel) reported

@Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS - can you tell us when M15 4JP will be up and running again??? Service has had a number of outages recently - concerning as we all start to wfh again

  • Or1onSLi Andrea (@Or1onSLi) reported

@ShowanW @Dachsjaeger @Xbox There's a bit of mix and match between software bugs and server capping. It has never been clear to me what the ideal setup is...my home never receives more than 364Mbps on Xbox but goes up to 600Mbps on Microsoft Store on PC. I'm in the UK with Hyperoptic.

  • 1976Panenka Panenka76 (@1976Panenka) reported

@HyperopticCS Definitely isn't guys, never had a problem with anything else, including streaming on 3rd floor of my house! Hyperoptic always bang on 👌🏻

  • willlowther ❄️ Chill Lowther ❄️ (@willlowther) reported

@TheSakeDiary It's entirely down to who is in your area. You need FTTP to get gig unless you're willing to pay 1000+ a month. Can you get hyperoptic or another community fibre where you live? (No Idea where you're based)
