If you need a reliable internet connection AVOID @Hyperoptic 7 days of no connection then they send someone to the property who can’t fix the issue. No internet means no work means no pay. Merry Christmas

  • PhillParkinson P H I L L I P ⚡️ (@PhillParkinson) reported

@BJarkowski @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS This test was over ethernet, on WiFi I get about 700Mbps down and 600Mbps up. It isn't plugged into my main network yet which uses UniFi kit. I think even for WiFi use it's still worth it, especially for the symmetrical speeds.

  • BJarkowski Bartosz Jarkowski (@BJarkowski) reported

@PhillParkinson @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS Love it! Have you run the test over WiFi? I was tempted to go ultra fast but wondering if it makes sense if all my devices use wifi (and I don’t have the problem with many concurrent users)

  • Jerez_467 Jeremy Smith (@Jerez_467) reported

  • Or1onSLi Andrea (@Or1onSLi) reported

@ShowanW @Dachsjaeger @Xbox There's a bit of mix and match between software bugs and server capping. It has never been clear to me what the ideal setup is...my home never receives more than 364Mbps on Xbox but goes up to 600Mbps on Microsoft Store on PC. I'm in the UK with Hyperoptic.

  • ZurcNosa Zurcnosa (@ZurcNosa) reported

I paid my Three 5G contract off because it's SO bad. Switched to Hyperoptic broadband 500MB. SO rapid. Wired >> 5G
