Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Stuart Hazeldine (@stuarthazeldine) reported@TheLionXB1 @Hyperoptic 3000 customers are down in NW & W London. A ‘Zayo link’ is down. A main Internet fibre highway, apparently, but one just used by Hyperoptic customers it seems. No idea when they’ll fix it.
-
Paul Thompson (@tommo_68) reported@Hyperoptic When the internet is down though you cannot switch.
-
James Nicholls (@jamesjnicholls) reported@SanchoMagnifico @Hyperoptic It's totally unacceptable. We used to be on Virgin Media and whilst their service was mostly crap, they at least provided regular updates for outages!
-
Rick Sanchez (@RickSanchezDJ) reported@theashrb Hyperoptic is actually a good network (used to work for them). Starlink makes sense if you live in the sticks
-
Tony Costanza (@BarryDavid69562) reported@Hyperoptic no information from your support team and no internet for +7 hours in WC1X? You prompt people to contact customer support but all they say is “hopefully it will work soon”. Can we do better?
-
vsquad22 (@StainYNWA) reported@Hyperoptic Definitely not hyper reliable. London, NW10 has dropped to 2Mbps even though I paid for 1Gb. I've been on hold with tech support for 45 minutes and then the connection mysteriously drops out. Get it sorted for goodness sake! Cheap prices = poor service
-
Sam Phillips (@bamsam_md) reported@Sophie__Hayes @Hyperoptic They really are ****, our area has been down 16 hours. Way too many drops lately. Thank god my contract ends in a couple of months
-
Drahnier_ (@JaffaReinhard) reported@Hyperoptic Most useless and unhelpful customer service I’ve had with any wifi provider so far I was meant to have wifi up and running at my address originally over a month ago and still have no wifi. Engineers said they will come yesterday but didn’t and neither came today.
-
Marisa Peek (@TheOneMarisa) reported@Hyperoptic our service has been disrupted since Saturday. @Ofcom regulations state compensation is due if not resumed within 2 working days. Your “support” tells me they conveniently found a ‘new fault’ as of end of 2nd working day and you are restarting the clock. #ScamAlert

Flowerbomb212 (@Flowerbomb212) reported@Hyperoptic you’re not experiencing a higher than normal volume of calls. Your renewals team are most likely offline. Why don’t you say that instead of lying, especially to customers who are looking to potentially cancel? Shambolic service.
