BBC news is doing nothing to help this issue of over 75s paying the TVs licences from next year. That comes has no surprise. Only ITV have taken this up and will fight for people who are least able to fight.

@TheSimonC90 At a push, Channel 4. I suspect we'd get a more creative entry. ITV and Channel 5 would be a car crash. I suspect none of the other networks realise the money and work involved, however. There is nothing to stop the BBC doing an amazing job, however. They simply don't want to.

Richard Madeley looks & sounds bloody awful on ITV today. Looks like Mr Tango with his orange face & cheap looking blond streaked hair. Sounds more like Alan Partridge than Steve Coogan does. I’m sure he’s on strong prescription drugs making him sound so daft at 6.30am.

@chrisrickett Who are advertises on this show? They need to be called out one by one and asked if they are ok with their advertising dollar’s supporting this behavior toward women? @ITV @GMB This is a serious problem. Humiliating women for what they have on is not ok.
