Companies can now use Internet social media etc. ITV is not immune or unable to deal with increased competition, but BBC with ads ain't gonna help. Most company ad budgets I've done are a strict % of turnover. So same cash over more media.

@SoozUK The problem is not Love Island as such. It's the people who tweet about it. However ITV Studios must take some responsibility for letting the cat out the bag, for making the cat angry first, and then for profiting from the behaviour of the angry cat.

There is now audio description on #catchphrase and its hilarious because whilst I applaud the idea it doesn’t work! At all! Often it describes the catch phrase after it has been guessed sometimes it does not describe it at all. So it’s of almost no use @ITV

Please correct me if I’m wrong.. John Leslie lost his job on #Thismorning even before going to court and eventually was not guilty anyway! Philip Schofield ,on the other hand, has done few things wrong ( that we are aware of ) and still works there.. How does that work? @ITV
