  @fraserallan @stevenperkins @mrshavers I wouldn’t actually like to speculate on what caused what or what led to what. However, ITV has put in measures to address issues of exposure and vulnerability for contestants (I’ve just written about this for @HeadTalksNews).

  @JuanG_Arango @BBC @ITV The only problem I have with this is the effect it will have on the Players, they normally have 15 minutes, with multiple acts it may last half an hour. Players will cool down too much increasing the risk of injury and reduces explosive performance.

  So @ITV can only get an extra 15 mins of broadcasting time so old people can get their fix of an episode of The Protectors from 1972, followed by The Sweeney….. FFS!!!! #itvracing
