@JakeWildHall @harriepw @ITV Yes Ofcom is 'above them', you try making a complaint, they wont investigate it and they don't speak directly to complainants. Ofcom's codes and processe are broken. They will find a way out and not uphold the complaint. Believe me I know! Its worth you complaining tho!

Newspapers will only stop all this when we stop reading and clicking. I never watched Love Island, but I tweeted at time it’s a shame Caroline Flack was pushed under a bus whilst ITV rushed to help rehabilitate Ant & Dec for ratings reasons.

In the FOUR MONTHS since the programme was made, edited, viewed, re-edited and finally complied... no one picked this error up. I find it slightly baffling that the response from ITV was "This was a genuine mistake by the panel. We apologise if this caused any upset to viewers."

That ‘new drama’ ident on @itv sounds just like one of those awful #nationwide adverts with a laboured voice rising and falling, unnaturally emphasising certain words and elongating short words to try and sound edgy. I was about to close my account until I saw who it was.
