@dylanbeattie @pete_codes Hull, UK. KCOM @KCOMhome have the monopoly here and there are no BT/Openreach lines, so residents only have the option of paying extortionate prices with KCOM or use a 4G/5G solution.

@DEANCARR2010 @lynnsey4 @KCOMhome So basically you are getting a lot of wireless interference in your house. That is nothing to do with KCOM. They provide the service to your house but can't control what happens inside. It's your internal network that's at fault. Invest in a WiFi mesh set up or ethernet adapters

@Frankel001 @tim_urbancrap @Kevin_Maguire To get full fibre FTTP no one can really compete with KCom at present especially if like some you want a landline phone. KCom are going VOIP in the near future and binning copper wire altogether. There is also the fact the office is based in Hull if you have problems.

Thread: Providers with inbuilt social tariffs don’t usually advertise this in their marketing material, but BT, Community Fibre, G. Network, Hyperoptic, KCOM and Virgin Media O2 are the six broadband providers in the UK that offer the social tariffs to those on Universal Credit.
