Paul Burley (@paulxdesign) reported from Manchester, England@ant_thedesigner That's a shame. It used to be the opposite problem: KCOM overpriced, the rest of the UK had caught up and the customers are left with no choice because of KCOM's monopoly as an ISP.

zigzagtoes (@zigzagtoes) reported@Tosh_ag @MikeeP1981 It's always worth having a secondary dns. Most of the time I don't realise kcom is down, cos of a back up dns I entered years ago. Anyhoos, main router settings, look for gateway settings, and as secondary put googles (8.8.8.8) or search net for others, in primary put kcoms....

Ive escalated to Ofgem and, in the process, Ive found KCOM are not members of CISAS nor ISPA where customers can find resolution. I had terrible connection 90% less than what I paid for and now for the last 19 hours the internet in my whole town has been offline with no communication. What's up with that kcom

Wall box hanging off wall , cable loose and untidy, entry point hole for cable about 5 times bigger than the cable. Inspection on 14 April to report the install needs starting again. No further communication. Garbage.
