Cllr Ray Gardner (@cllrraygardner) reported@LloydsBank This is now the fourth number I’ve tried and I’m still getting nowhere. I’ve had my wallet stolen abroad and need to cancel my business card urgently, but every route leads to a closed department. Please provide a working 24/7 number or confirm I’m protected.

The Cummins Accountability Project 🌎 (@tcumminsap) reported@LloydsBank I mean it was a complaint that because increasing frustrating because somebody was pasting answers to me from a crib sheet. A fast pass to showing customers you’re not understanding the nuances of the situation your insecure bank caused and causing them to lose their temper. It was even suggested I contact @OnlyFans - and so there you Go - they’re tagged. Let’s see if effectively a porn site - or a site used to shake men down - has better scruples that @LloydsBank. I’d actually enjoy writing that piece.

Artur Nadolny (@ArturNadol7566) reportedLLOYDS APP SHAMBLES @LloydsBank managed to turn online banking into a raffle where nearly half a million customers got a peek at someone else’s finances. Open the app to check your balance, leave with a stranger’s transactions, account details and national insurance number. Just the sort of premium service that really says trusted high street institution. The bank says an overnight software defect caused the chaos, which is a way of admitting someone fiddled with the wiring and half the country briefly thought their money had gone on a car they never bought. Customers were left panicked, confused and wondering whether they’d been hacked. Lloyds responded with goodwill payments averaging about £38 each, which apparently is now the going rate for accidental identity.. This is the magic of modern banking. Total convenience right up until your app starts freelancing as someone else’s wallet. The regulators are now circling, the bank is very sorry, and the rest of us are once again being asked to trust the same people who cannot update software without turning basic banking into a national farce. Rob Cain (@cain_rob) reported@CommonsTreasury @LloydsBank @Meg_HillierMP be very assured, this was no 'glitch', but a systemic ****-up, waiting to happen. it will not be isolated, or unique.
-
Sarah Clarke (@sjclarkey) reported@LloydsBank what number do we call to get straight through to a human being for customer service. Your online chat is useless and can’t answer basic questions.
-
AliBi (@AliBi40) reported@LloydsBank No, Neha, you *cannot* still pay in cheques at Post Office branches; that service was withdrawn at the end of last year.
-
Cllr Ray Gardner (@cllrraygardner) reported@LloydsBank I cannot access the app because my phone was stolen in the same incident. I cannot access the online portal via web browser because even though it's a trusted device it requires a SMS text message. And I have spent a LOT of money trying to call Lloyds so far to no avail.

alitia (@alitia23) reported@Jen_grows @MartinSLewis @LloydsBank I said this about moving my money, to the most bored sounding bloke, when I called to complain on Lloyds ‘online banking customer support’. He basically said my money was still there, the FCA would sort it if it wasn’t. Not a problem so not to worry. Ffs😡
