A whole day wasted waiting around for companies like @LloydsBank and @BritishGas. It’s so nice to know their time is so much more valuable than mine. Really makes you feel valued as a customer… I’d never leave a customer feeling like this!

@LloydsBank @MartinSLewis @financialombudsman Dealer sold car with dangerous exhaust fumes leaking into cabin (CO risk, unsafe to drive). Rejected under CRA 2015 short-term right within 9 days. They’ve refused refund, insisting on inspection at their premises first. No legal requirement for that. Now stalling. Section 75 claim needed—£500 deposit on Lloyds credit card. Bank said wait 30 days, but that’s wrong. Help please! #ConsumerRights #Section75 #FaultyCar

@LloydsBank Even after investigation, we only have your word on findings. Can we believe assurances from LBG? Regardless whether they had access or not, I don’t want people seeing my transactions & I don’t want to see theirs. Coupled with the branch closures, you’re not helping yourselves.

@LloydsBank @PaulCro76381375 Fobbed off to the complaints department who may likely tell you they have 8 weeks to reply and then when you’re expecting an answer they will extend it by an extra 8 weeks. Requesting a DSAR beforehand can help your complaint. Best of luck

LLOYDS APP SHAMBLES @LloydsBank managed to turn online banking into a raffle where nearly half a million customers got a peek at someone else’s finances. Open the app to check your balance, leave with a stranger’s transactions, account details and national insurance number. Just the sort of premium service that really says trusted high street institution. The bank says an overnight software defect caused the chaos, which is a way of admitting someone fiddled with the wiring and half the country briefly thought their money had gone on a car they never bought. Customers were left panicked, confused and wondering whether they’d been hacked. Lloyds responded with goodwill payments averaging about £38 each, which apparently is now the going rate for accidental identity.. This is the magic of modern banking. Total convenience right up until your app starts freelancing as someone else’s wallet. The regulators are now circling, the bank is very sorry, and the rest of us are once again being asked to trust the same people who cannot update software without turning basic banking into a national farce.
