@Steve_p_photos @BritishGas @LloydsBank Cancel the DD and pay on bill monthly. Submit readings every month- set a reminder. They can't make you pay by DD. Then ask for the money back into your account. And ask for detailed working how they get to that figure. Energy firm greed will leave people destitute

@YardleyShooting @LloydsBank Closed my Lloyds accounts years ago. Terrible company who treat their customers badly. Surprised anyone still banks with them.

@LloydsBank and what a load of muppets. I thought that I was getting somewhere last night, as somebody from Lloyd's understood my dilemma and noticed that my RPA access was set up wrongly and agreed to fix it, but today the system does not recognise my User ID nor my password!

@LloydsBank Yes, but surely you're not legally obliged to send letters to an address you know is incorrect, even if your customer hasn't updated you with their new address. That just seems insane.

I've been with @LloydsBank for more than 50 years - since school. Their service on my account recently has been dire. As noted something like 10 hours wasted & complaints lost. I've not left yet (& I probably must now) because we all have a right to good service if we pay for it.

@LloydsBank @Steve_p_photos Quote ‘If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by the organisation or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society’ end of quote.

@LloydsBank @Lolk488 Have a system where the bank calls the customer back rather than think its acceptable to keep people in a q for hours...customers deserve better....40 mins and counting - what happens at 8pm when you close...and I'm still hanging on..

@sciolisthjf @LloydsBank Seems to suggest you have to log in to find out what the savings rates are. A curious way to try to attract new business.
