I specifically wanted counter service to deposit a cheque as my local branch of @HalifaxBank was closed yet it wasn't available and was advised to use a machine or offered help to do it online neither of which was appropriate. Poor customer service.

Downloaded their app to find it couldn't verify me & to make appt at a branch. Earliest is August 19th!! Think I'll stick with @LloydsBank who had no problem verifying me.
