Been to town to pay a cheque into @AskNationwide but the machine couldn't process it. Yes I had it the correct way up. Although I did try it back to front and upside down too, just in case. So infuriating. Going to post it off now. More expense and inconvenience. Cheques. Pah!

Word of warning for anyone with @AskNationwide who hasn't used their credit card during the pandemic lock down - the Nationwide will cancel your direct debit with out warning and will report you to a credit reference agency for the missed payment too! #LookingForANewBank

@AskNationwide I’m aware of that for goodness sake. I am trying to explain that I couldn’t even log onto the website and check my pending payments because it is not an option via the website. It is ridiculous that you can only check that via the app.

@lv your ‘breakdown cover’ is truly awful. My husband has been waiting 5 hours in the cold for you to get to him despite being told it would be under 2 hours. Will be cancelling our @AskNationwide accounts and finding alternative cover.

@AskNationwide @sainsburys the £100 is still showing on my account despite the petrol being taken last Saturday. Your website says the charge will be updated alsmost immediately with correct amount….obviously whoever wrote that has no understanding of time!
