Been to town to pay a cheque into @AskNationwide but the machine couldn't process it. Yes I had it the correct way up. Although I did try it back to front and upside down too, just in case. So infuriating. Going to post it off now. More expense and inconvenience. Cheques. Pah!

@AskNationwide I’m the website, and Jack who I chatted with, both said to phone 03457302010 between hours of 8am and 6pm. When I phone, it says lines are closed and to phone back when they are open… when is this?

@AskNationwide Yes…. It’s a service I used, they state I have to give them a month notice (I’m short of this notice period by 3days) so they’re telling me I have to pay the next month

@reprobatepress @AskNationwide They've decided that if they *think* something is a scam, they'll block your payment. They're not taking any responsibility if it's not and this costs you money, nor are they being particularly transparent about what their criteria is for a potential scam.
