@dracos @AskNationwide Yeah I've had it before where Nationwide changed my credit card and I then couldn't access all the history. Part of the reason I hardly use it and now primarily use another which has a nice cashback rate.

@mcknut @Zarch1972 @AskNationwide I'm hoping the agile export on days like today will help counteract the higher import costs. Underlying issue is high gas costs and high proportion of gas used to power the grid at the moment, combined with low wind. Had a year or two of good prices due to low demand.

@AskNationwide I was in contact with them but apparently Nationwide decided that it was acceptable to opt me out of the text alert service that I have been using the entire time! Nice that you think you can change my personal settings. Can't wait to move to a company that care about customers!

@AskNationwide hi. I sent you a letter over two weeks ago asking for a credit card to be closed and it’s not been done. Please can you help.

@AskNationwide Hi, thanks for this. I have already re-enabled the alerts. You should probably send a second text to notify that low-balance alerts have also been disabled. This is a more critical issue than your app being a bit rubbish and your website having problems.

@McDona1d @BarclaysUK @AskNationwide Yep, Nationwide use the same company as Barclays unfortunately. Ironically, when I left Barclays (due to this issue) I moved to Nationwide. I was disappointed to learn that they used the same company to fulfil the mobile phone insurance.

@AskNationwide Absolutely not on opting me out of texts that I chose to opt in to. Also, can't send a secure message about texts because you've replaced it with a broken chat service. When I get into my account texts are still on. Absolute shambles. Where is the complaint form?

@AskNationwide Really unimpressed that you just opted me out of text alerts without asking, and now the app says "experiencing a technical problem" when I try to set up the text alerts again. Why does NW. think I set up the text alerts? For funsies? Because I *want* them.

@AskNationwide Thanks but doesn't explain why the text said just high balance & mini statement alerts were being disabled, which I don't have a problem, & yet I had been opted out of the low balance ones too which were working. How many customers will this have affected & won't realise/check??

@AskNationwide as as existing FlexDirect account holder you offer me 2% fixed on £1,500 for one year. But you now offer 5% to newbies. That doesn’t seem fair, I think you should at least increase all customer rates to 5% until the one year term has ended
