Interest rate has gone up on our @AskNationwide mortgage, so of course our monthly payment has gone *down* £74 per month. Interest rates should go UP more often please! I think their software has a bug…

@RevdCharles @AskNationwide Good guess. No, I know what it is, and they do it every few years so that our end date doesn’t come early. Profits before principles. Or “computer error” as they call it!

@AskNationwide I’m told my employer that due to an issue at your end my pay this month may be delayed, can I assume all overdraft fees will be suspended during this period?

@AskNationwide i love how standing orders and direct debits can still come out… funny thing is I need money in my account for that to happen. Top service as usual 👍🤬

@Roguexx @AskNationwide It’s killer right, hopefully the issue is resolved over night but the fear is real if it isn’t.

@AskNationwide is the issue affecting payments by BACS? Just want to know if I am going to be paid tonight as I’ve seen 2 contradictory answers from you this pm. And pls don’t apologise for “any” inconvenience. You KNOW that it’s way past merely inconveniencing people.

@AskNationwide My electricity has run out and I need to transfer money from my account PayPal to pay for it, get food and travel. My flat is dark and cold and it's the longest day of the year, four days before Christmas. Very anxious and upset. A timeframe would help.

@AskNationwide if the payment situation is not sorted by tonight I am going to be without my Christmas shop delivery & as of 10am tomorrow morning I am going to be without gas and electricity as unable to access my wages to top up! WHAT IS GOING ON!? No generic responses here✋🏻

@AskNationwide You're currently causing the challenging times. I'm sure I'm not the only one now worrying that money due into an account on Christmas Eve is going to be affected by whatever is causing your problems, this time. It's not good enough really, is it?
