@AskNationwide The issue is the contactless phone payments not the card. I rarely carry cards now. Doesn't look like there is an answer to this at present other than always carrying card and phone. Makes Samsung and Google pay pointless as a result

@AskNationwide I've tried before. They just say no block on card..I appreciate security is important but often I end up using another providers card and just transfer the money

@AskNationwide I'm having frequent problems with Google pay and my registered flex account card which is declined every 6th transaction. Is this normal given we have to use this multiple times a day. For small amounts nowhere near the £100 limit

@AskNationwide @Man_Power_Music Why are you unable to give a timescale? You are a national bank and the payments have been down ALL DAY. This isn’t good enough.

@AskNationwide when can I expect to get my wages? If direct debits are still working but my wages are not in my account what will happen then? Are you going to pay them if I can’t?

@AskNationwide It has been hours now. Hours, with no estimation of timescale to resolve this issue or real explanation as to why this has happened. People want to access their hard-earned money. Please work on this overnight and have it be resolved by tomorrow morning.

@Cuddy2977 @AskNationwide Apparently they’ve switched to Microsoft Azure as their cloud platform, and that’s causing the issue. But surely no competent I.T. department wouldn’t have the failsafe of running the old system alongside the new until it’s been proven out. They could switch back temporarily.
