@RevdCharles @AskNationwide Good guess. No, I know what it is, and they do it every few years so that our end date doesn’t come early. Profits before principles. Or “computer error” as they call it!

Interest rate has gone up on our @AskNationwide mortgage, so of course our monthly payment has gone *down* £74 per month. Interest rates should go UP more often please! I think their software has a bug…

@AskNationwide As someone who is disabled and unable to work, however in receipt of a guaranteed for life monthly payment from the Scottish Infected Blood Support Scheme, would you accept these payments for a mortgage?

@AskNationwide Well, the completion is tomorrow. I will certainly file a complaint, but the problem is that this blunder endangered completion. That is the real problem. I will be angry, but only once completion is done.

@AskNationwide Interesting. I received a letter 4 weeks ago saying you are increasing my mortgage interest payments because of previous BOE rate rises. Didn’t get an email then and didn’t see any savings account interest increase on your website. One way traffic I fear.

@AskNationwide And another day ticks by without an email update from @AskNationwide Clearly the issue raised was important enough to call when we asked not to but not important enough to send an email.

And also @AskNationwide has texted me my mortgage rate is going up, yet their savings has only gone up 0.05% in the last few months. Quick down, slow up for savings slow down, quick up for borrowings 😡

I usually put off doing things like calling organisations because the process can be so convoluted & often not helpful. But I had a query about my mortgage & called & spoke to 2 people at @AskNationwide today & they couldn’t have been more helpful! Great service thank you!
