Interest rate has gone up on our @AskNationwide mortgage, so of course our monthly payment has gone *down* £74 per month. Interest rates should go UP more often please! I think their software has a bug…

@AskNationwide I would like to complain strongly and would like this investigated further. The online chat could not deal with my query and asked me to call a number. The guy on the number could not answer my query and put me on hold for 40mins. Then hung up. Dreadful service.

@AskNationwide Thanks, but there's no problem. I just run things a bit differently from some (most?) people. Everything goes on the credit cards, so that's the spending that I track against a personal benchmark. They're automatically paid off in full by DD every month.

@AskNationwide "make a budget" is not help. It's just saying only spend what you have. Which is basic logic. I'm So tired of banks and building societies telling us how to spend or how to save. Stick to keeping what little money we have, safe. Keep your "cook bulk meals" suggestions to yaself

@AskNationwide There are enough honest workers waiting for paydays, and dishonest institutions like yours waiting to deny them access to their funds with deceitful protocols, hopefully, you remember how many peoples lives you made miserable last festive season. Ethnic minorities run run ooooo
