@AskNationwide It transpires that our mortgage broker identified several errors with Nationwide’s handling of our application, and emailed the underwriting team on 22, 27 and 28 Sep. He still hasn’t received a reply to the points raised; could a member of that team please contact him ASAP?

  • tempoftheyear Madi Maxwell-Libby (@tempoftheyear) reported

@AskNationwide hello, both my banking app and card reader aren't working. the app crashes every time i open it, and my card reader code doesn't go through on the website that is trying to verify me, just FYI

  • TeonaTeona89 Teona (@TeonaTeona89) reported

@HenryPryor @bradburymark @AskNationwide the same monthly payment on the mortgage as a high price low interest rate. So then you buy a high priced house. Then interest rates rise (because they sure cannot go down much more), and you lose your house.

  • lchalmers26 Lynne Chalmers (@lchalmers26) reported

@AskNationwide iPhone. And the app is still down.

  • loiskitten Louise (@loiskitten) reported

@AskNationwide I’m the one who will be sorry when the deal I wanted is withdrawn or the rate goes up by the time I am able to call during your office hours again. Making calls during the working day is pretty much impossible.

  • _vanhooydonk Clifton Grump (@_vanhooydonk) reported

@AskNationwide Thanks Jamie, unfortunately my query directs me to using the phoneline as the only service option.

  • hbodasing hbodasing (@hbodasing) reported

@AskNationwide @loiskitten I acknowledge your apology Jamie, but would be interested to hear what’s being done to prevent similar issues from occurring in future?

  • bradburymark Mark Bradbury (@bradburymark) reported

@HenryPryor @AskNationwide OK this is higher than expected but increases were inevitable. As recently as March 2022 Nationwide would fix for 5 years at 1.59 and in some cases as low as 1.34%.

  • BenjManf Ben Manfield (@BenjManf) reported

In no other industry would you buy a product (let alone a mortgage) and expect such an abysmal service. Sort it out @CountrywideUK @AskNationwide
