@AskNationwide your age verification policy is a complete joke. You know the age of my teenager because you took all their details down when they opened their account. Now you’ve blocked their access to their account just as they have to pay their rent! Just crap.

@AskNationwide I tried to pay money into an atm today but it rejected some so flattened it out put it back in rejected £20 then said it can’t give the money back. I’ve now lost £90 and the branch hasn’t open until Tuesday when I’m working. I have bills to pay which I now can’t do

@AskNationwide hi I’m new to Nationwide and I’m interested in applying for a bank account online but on the website it says you still have to go to the local branch with ID. It can’t be done completely online? Is that correct?

@jon_trickett That's why I left Barclays a good few years ago Jon. Just a 'normal' customer (pretty poor) who they want to fleece to give to shareholders. @AskNationwide looks after it's customers! Its no wonder us 'normal' people dont trust banks!

Bear in mind, the reason I was calling was relatively simple: To have some money that wasn’t involved in a scam transferred to my backup @AskNationwide account. I had no access to my Santander account, and Santander were aware I have a physical disability that prevents me from visiting a branch.
