I just find it really odd that in the 21st century we still have to go into a branch (which is closed today btw) usually at times we're working so inconvenient, and present the same ID we would present online? Either be fully online or don't say you are.

Julie (@JulieMelvinator) reported@AskNationwide I’m fuming!! Finally got thru to HMRC to make a payment and you’ve blocked my card cos I tried twice due to the automated service not hearing my postcode wrong!!! Now I’ve got to get on the phone to them again… !! As you’ve blocked the payment!!!!!!

They then hide behind screens such as Contact@support refusing to acknowledge. #Nationwide response? 'We cannot help. Have u tried to reach them?

Chrismit (@RadiationSloth) reported@AskNationwide if we call your frais helpline after a dodgy transaction is picked up, as you request, there is a long wait. Fair enough. Why do you cut us off after 13 minutes on hold? How do i get through to sort out the problem without you cutting me off?

How can you decide to block a payment to HMRC ? the automotive service at HMRC did not recognise my version of my postcode so I tried again and nationwide blocked my card!! I’ve had to spend another 45mins on the phone to HMRC !!
