@AskNationwide not having the best time. Nationwide have now let me down twice in a fortnight. Loan paid off 9th. Payment taken today. You guys are better than that. Truly not happy. #Katie has resolved but feel let down. 💔

  • doubledutch13
John van Dieken (@doubledutch13) reported from Methil, Scotland

@AskNationwide Company says there was an error and refund has been issued today. Will I see it tomorrow if they are not lying to me again? (It’s not there yet?)

  • 44dbarc
David Barclay (@44dbarc) reported from Kirkcaldy, Scotland

@AskNationwide The issue is the contactless phone payments not the card. I rarely carry cards now. Doesn't look like there is an answer to this at present other than always carrying card and phone. Makes Samsung and Google pay pointless as a result

John van Dieken (@doubledutch13) reported from Methil, Scotland

@AskNationwide Yes that’s what I did today. They said they found an error on revising it and have issued it today. They say you may take 3-5 days to process it. I told them they were wrong. NW credits it immediately ?

David Barclay (@44dbarc) reported from Kirkcaldy, Scotland

@AskNationwide I'm having frequent problems with Google pay and my registered flex account card which is declined every 6th transaction. Is this normal given we have to use this multiple times a day. For small amounts nowhere near the £100 limit

  • doubledutch13
John van Dieken (@doubledutch13) reported from Methil, Scotland

@AskNationwide I will do. I had further errors using the card reader on the same issue so I’ve given up for today. Fresh try tomorrow.

Is @AskNationwide having a bit of a nightmare? Last night I couldn’t make an online banking payment (it went through OK this morning) and now a ticketing site can’t contact them.

  • KangooVanMan
    Justice Pursuer (@KangooVanMan) reported

@AskNationwide paid off my credit card. Nationwide reduced my credit by more than 50% Their reason, second time they’ve done this, they sent a letter after the fact. They are worried about my ability to service my £0 debt. 😱 ******* Shite. Will probably close all my accounts.

@AskNationwide I’m going to raise a complaint. How can you decide to block a payment to HMRC ? the automotive service at HMRC did not recognise my version of my postcode so I tried again and nationwide blocked my card!! I’ve had to spend another 45mins on the phone to HMRC !!

  • louise_crossing
    louise 🍃 (@louise_crossing) reported

@AskNationwide not happy with your service. Was told my switch was successful and account will be credited as was all criteria done and ive had someone say opposite and go back and say no longer valid. You advertised it till the 4th march so any application before should be fine

what a disgraceful experience i had in your kingston branch! @AskNationwide Simply requested help as i was struggling to open a bank account online. The lady i had had a bad attitude! After another question, she pretended not to hear me, randomly clicking with her mouse 1/2

  • Yaga_42o
    🌬️Yaga💨💨💨 (@Yaga_42o) reported

today I had to contact @AskNationwide because one of my kid trust fund account went missing from my banking app. Turns out the address was incorrect. No letter to tell me there’s an issue, just removed the account. Only removed one account even though both have the same issue.

@AskNationwide quick question — transaction push notifications in the app were shown as “coming soon” on your website months ago, but there’s no mention now. Has this been delayed or dropped? Would love an update.

Well done @AskNationwide for having a terrible online banking system that's stopping me from sorting out my finances. Whoever designs these things are sadistic.

@AskNationwide I've been on hold on the phone for an hour and on hold with a chat bot for 30 mins who then cut me off and still no answer to my question. Poor customer services. Any ideas how I can speak to a real person to answer my simple question?
